I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

We are born sick. From our first breath, we are sinful and wicked. For us to believe people when they say "FOLLOW YOUR HEART" is stupid.

If anything about our hearts was good, WHY DID JESUS DIE ON A FREAKIN' CROSS?

When we realize this truth, we allow what is described in this verse from Ezekiel to take place. God wants desperately to replace your heart of stone (cold, hard, wicked) with a heart of flesh (warm, soft, loving).

He wants to bring you out of the wickedness that your heart pursues and replace it with HIS heart. On our own, we are selfish and hateful creatures but with HIS heart in us we are able to love and serve others in AMAZING ways.

You can't just give Jesus a corner of your heart to replace. He wants to do a heart transplant. Your nasty, sinful heart for a new one that enables you to live your life as a reflection of Him.
