I woke up this morning with a simple, yet profound thought in my heart.
I would rather be accused of loving too much than loving too little.
In the simplicity of this statement, we see a beautiful picture of our calling as disciples, followers of Christ.
In John 13, Jesus was teaching his disciples. As the "Last Supper" is being shared, Jesus tells us that all men will know we follow Him if we love one another.
Our love for each other is a direct reflection of our discipleship!
With all the animosity and condemnation going on in churches these days, it is high time for us to take back the Church.
When we love much we are putting action with our words. We are placing flesh on the skeletal structure of our preaching.
People are desperate for Jesus. He uses us to love them and meet their needs. We are His hands and feet.
We love because we know and follow the Author of Love. We have no excuse not to follow His example if we claim to follow Him.
Be like Jesus, LOVE BIG!!!
