UPDATE
After a year in Iraq & a few months back home, I am back to blogging on a regular basis. The time off was needed as we have moved into a new home, the reintegration process is intense at times, & there are many people to see & catch up with.
I am preaching as often as I'm able & spending much time in prayer as I seek God's guidance for what I feel Him calling & leading me to do. It is so humbling to know that, though God does not need me, He desires to use me to bring Him glory. Pray that I would be faithful & that I would have wisdom in discerning His will for my life, family, & ministry.
I will update this blog a few times each week in order to offer insight on my life & ministry, leadership, as well as to filter the randomness that is my thought process. I pray that those of you who read this will be encouraged & equipped to do all that God has called you to do.
As I sit typing this it is Mother's Day 2011. Take a moment to think about, thank God for, & call the mother's in your life. The job of a mother is critically important & is often overlooked. Let them know they are loved & cared for today & everyday.
