IGNITE '09

This past weekend was the Ignite '09 rally in Spruce Pine, NC. All the planning paid off and the work put into cleaning and setting up was definitely well worth it.

The Chris White Band (www.chriswhiteband.com) led everyone in attendance in the musical part of worship. He is fantastic! A dramatic drama group called 3D (www.3Ddrama.net) also performed. If you have never seen these guys you should check them out--- they are sensational! Unfortunately, Leap of Faith only performed on Saturday night due to members being sick. I appreciate so much what these guys do for the Lord.

The man preaching at Ignite was none other than my friend, Clayton King. Both nights Clayton did a dynamic job communicating the gospel to the crowd (between two and three thousand people each night). It was great to see Clayton but seeing what God did through him and the folks mentioned above was phenomenal.

Time to brag on God, y'all ready for this:

61 one people made the lifesaving decision to trust Christ as Lord and Savior!!! I love getting new brothers and sisters!

35 people were called to repentance and,

12 people accepted a call on their lives into ministry of some type!

Praise God for drawing people to Him and praise God for using Ignite to do so!!!
