Have I Told You Lately............

Last week as I was reading in Psalms I read a verse that rocked my world. Seriously, it was one of those moments where you feel God was really teaching me through His word. The verse:

I love you, O LORD my strength.
Psalm 18:1

I felt the Holy Spirit moving in me as I asked myself, "When was the last time I genuinely told God, 'I love you'?"

Think about it. We give God lip service. We appreciate what He's done for us and what we get from Him. But when was the last time you said, "Father, I love you!"

Not because of what He can give us and do for us but because of who He is!

I pray that you would know His love. I pray that as a result you would seek to know Him more. I pray we would echo David's sentiment as our lives demonstrate our love for the LORD!
