To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

ECCLESIASTES 3:1

TIME

It seems as if I am in chains to my schedules and all the meaningless stuff I fill them with.

I personally struggle with setting my priorities. Just because I struggle DOESN'T mean I'm giving/have to give up the fight!

What I do with my time, private or public, says a lot about who I am. Time cannot be re-attained. Therefore, I should make the most of the time I'm given.

When making a decision to do something, I'm changing some things.

I will weigh my options and go with the one that most honors God with my time.

More often I will ask myself, "Does what I'm doing/getting ready to do, bring honor to God? Is it the best use of my time to maximize the potential for THIS moment? What do I wish to accomplish by spending time on..............?".

As a minister, EVERY hour of EVERY day for the rest of my life has been surrendered to Jesus and His call on my life!

Does my schedule and the activities I fill it with reflect this?

"Your life is God's gift to you, what you do with your life is your gift to HIM".
~Dawn Hall

I don't know about y'all, but I want to live a life that is COMPLETELY surrendered to Jesus! A life that reflects my gratitude for the cross!

  1. Hey guy,
I totally get this. I definitely get frustrated with time. Especially in a culture like Africa where it is so easy to just kick back and do NOTHING all day. I often find myself about to fall asleep and having to repent of my slothfulness that day. There is a balance in there somewhere... lets hope we can find it sooner than later!
